Carrier Representative
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Negotiation of rates with carriers
Ensure drivers are dispatched daily in order to meet customer requirements
Review loads (by area) to ensure on time pick up and delivery
Communicate with customer reps on special requirements/customer needs
Adhere to operational procedures, paperwork, and process flow
Responsible for dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles
Responsible to meet monthly margin/profit goals as assigned
Operations Specialist
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Handle very high inbound and outbound call volume in an efficient manner
Schedule and verify loading and unloading appointments with shippers and receivers
Identify and solve existing and potential problems with shipments daily
Update system with all information received from customer, shipper, or carrier
Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with Company procedures
Responsible to build all customer loads into the system in an accurate and timely manner
